Player Claims to Have Discovered a Fallout 76 Secret Ending

In the months since its November release, Fallout 76 players have uncovered a variety of secrets. In fact, the game’s secret final boss, the Scorchbeast Queen, was discovered shortly after the release. Now, however, a player believes that they may have stumbled upon a Fallout 76 secret ending. However, they’re currently looking for assistance in proving whether it really is or not, as the ending would theoretically require a lot of careful collaboration.

Could This Really be a Fallout 76 Secret Ending?

The possible discovery was recently shared on Reddit by user “International_XT” and seems to have been discovered by accident. “Having grown bored of always nuking either Whitesprings or Fissure Prime, I have taken it upon myself to nuke other parts of the map,” they explain; “I was curious to see what would happen, and I think I may potentially have stumbled into something significant. This ties together the task set to us by the Overseer, the plan Paladin Taggerdy hinted at during her conversation with Maxson on the holotape labeled The Nuclear Option, the ultimate failure of Operation Touchdown, and Santiago’s desperate attempt to stop Eckhart from unleashing the scorchbeasts on the world.”

Fallout 76 Secret Ending Fissure Site

The response to International_XT’s post has been huge from fans on Reddit. In fact, the user has since set up a Discord just to coordinate the many interested players. In their original post, they give an overview of the storyline of Fallout 76 as it relates to the Scorchbeasts and the Fissures. However, as they say, killing the Scorchbeast Queen may not actually be enough to end the Scorchbeast threat. They believe that it might be possible for players to actually close the fissures.

To test out this theory, they recommend organising three simultaneous strike teams to enter all three of the game’s nuclear silos at once. Those players would then launch nukes at three different non-Prime Fissure Sites, thus sealing those fissures. They would then nuke the Prime Fissure site and kill the Scorchbeast Queen. In theory, this might be a Fallout 76 secret ending, but it’s also a very time-consuming and difficult task. (Not to mention the potential obstacles to attempting it.) At present, it’s unknown what will happen when they attempt it…
