Fortnite Battle Royale players are slowly being introduced to season 6. Season 5, which started in July, is coming to its end, and Epic Games is preparing some big events for its conclusion. One of these events includes the mysterious cube that’s slowly going around the map.
The Fortnite cube appeared on August 24, and no one knows where it’s going. However, it seems that Fortnite Battle Royale players have figured out how to predict its movement. Will this theory be correct? We will see in a few days!
The cube theory
Recently, Reddit user DatCringeyGuy posted an interesting theory on the Fortnite subreddit. The user claimed that putting mobile graphics settings to low is going to show where the cube will activate. The cube is activated north of Salty Springs, but it seems like that this will not be its final destination.
In order to determine where the cube will be moving to, players have to look for patches of grass. Lowering graphics details on a mobile phone will ignore grass rendering. However, these patches will still render, and they indicate where the cube will activate.
The final destination
At the moment, the Fortnite cube has left three low-gravity fields on the island. If the grass theory is correct, it will leave a few more fields before it reaches Loot Lake.
Before reaching its final destination, the cube will move to Retail Row and Wailing Woods. After that, it will go west over Tomato Temple and under Lazy Links, before it reaches Pleasant Park. As the image above shows, it will go around one of the hills before reaching Loot Lake.
It is unknown what will happen after the cube reaches the final destination. However, many Fortnite Battle Royale players believe that the cube will destroy the final area.
