Players May Soon Be Able to Get a Gingerbread Man Pet in Fortnite
If you have been playing Fortnite for some time, you may have been lucky enough to enjoy the Merry Marauder skin, sometimes simply referred to as the “Gingerbread Man” skin. The skin had not been available for a long time, but it looks like it may be making a comeback in a different form. We may be getting Gingerbread Man back bling!
Here is the Evidence that the Gingerbread Man Back Bling Is On the Way
Dataminers checking out the textures in the Fortnite’s Season 7 v7.00 update have discovered references to Gingerbread Man Back Bling. In theory, this means we can expect the Gingerbread Man to be an animated pet just like the dogs, cats and other pets available.
There is still no visual data to go along with the reference in the files, so that is all we have to go on at the moment. How likely is it that the Gingerbread Man pet will be a reality? Actually, it would make a lot of sense. This is the holiday season after all, but some players who got the Gingerbread Man skin way back in the day might be annoyed if it were re-released.
So perhaps the Gingerbread Man Back Bling would be a good alternative. Or maybe we will be able to get both the pet and the player skin. We’ll just have to wait and see how it all pans out.
