With Predator: Hunting Grounds coming out on PlayStation 4 and PC on April 24th, maybe something in that vein would be good to feature for free next month through PS Plus. Our pick is the 2014 game Alien: Isolation, which takes place 15 years after the original film. The game won awards and was featured on multiple lists of top games. So far, it has not been free through PS Plus.
Another game which has never been free through PS Plus which would be worth featuring in April would be 2017’s Prey. Taking gamers to the space station Talos I, it pits players against the Typhon aliens. Reviewers praised its atmosphere, though combat mechanics received mixed reviews.
Our next pick for April is Farming Simulator 19 Platinum Edition from Focus Home Interactive. This publisher has another game coming out on April 28th, Snowrunner. Farming Simulator 19 added 35 new tools and vehicles for a total of more than 380 to choose from, allowing gamers to “farm like never before.” Sony has never featured one of the Farming Simulator games before, but it’s never too late to start!
One more idea for the free games for April would be Vampyr, also from Focus Home Interactive. This title was developed by Dontnod Entertainment, and became an award-winning bestseller when it came out in 2018 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game has not yet been free through PS Plus.
