PlayStation Plus December 2018 Free Games: When To Expect December’s Free Games Announcement
Sony’s tradition is to announce the upcoming PS Plus free games on the last Wednesday of the month. So for December, we should be getting the announcement on Wednesday the 28th of November.
When the games are announced, it is usually between 4:30 and 5:00 pm BST/11.30-12.00 EST or thereabouts. Check the PlayStation blog for the official post.

While we wait, there is still some time to enjoy the PS Plus free games for November. Here is what we are playing this month:

PlayStation Plus December 2018 Free Games: Our Predictions
What are some possibilities for the free games list for next month? We’ll be basing these predictions off of games coming out in February since not a lot is coming out in January.
To start with, one idea would be 8-Bit Armies. This is a stretch since it only came out for PS4 a couple months ago, but it was released on PC way back in 2016. As such, it is not really a “new” game. But we have 8-Bit Hordes due out on February 1st of next year for PS4 and Xbox One, and it would help to build hype for the new game.
We also have Anthem scheduled for release in February from BioWare. Anthem has no predecessor, but perhaps another BioWare game will be offered up for free next month. This could be anything from a Dragon Age title (Origins, Dragon Age II, or Inquisition) to a Mass Effect title (i.e. Mass Effect 3 for PS3 or Mass Effect: Andromeda for PS4).
Another possibility worth considering would be God Eater 2 or its expansion. This game was released on PS Vita and PS Portable. The expansion, Rage Burst, was released on both Vita and PS4. We have God Easter 3 due to come out on PS4 and PC on February 8th of next year, and that is coming up fast.
We think another possible inclusion in next month’s list might be Dead or Alive 5. Dead or Alive 6 will be releasing on February 15th. Dead or Alive 5 came out way back in 2012 for PS3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC, so this would be an ideal time to cycle it through the PS Plus free games list.
For an indie game, our prediction is Inside. This popular game is similar to Limbo, and released on PS4 back in August of 2016. It still hasn’t been featured in the PS Plus free games, and is overdue to make an appearance.
