So, what might we be playing for free next month? Let’s take a look at some of the possibilities for December 2019.
One idea for PS Plus December 2019 free games might be Life is Strange. Episode 5 of Life is Strange 2 is due to release on December 3rd for PS4, Xbox One and PC. So, this might be a good time for players to catch up on the original Life is Strange. This might motivate sales not just for Episode 5, but the previous episodes of Life is Strange 2 as well. The game has been free through PS Plus before, but that was clear back in 2017.
Incidentally, Life is Strange is a game that involves time manipulation. Another game which involves time control that is coming out on December 3rd is Arise: A Simple Story. So maybe another title featuring a time mechanic will be free next month. One great pick would be the retro-style platformer Timespinner.
SaGa Scarlet Grace: Ambitions is releasing on December 3rd as well on PS4, Switch, PC, Android and iOS from Square Enix. So, maybe another action RPG from Square Enix will be free next month? Our pick is Secret of Mana (Seiken Densetsu 2), a classic title from 1993. In February 2018, gamers on PS4, Vita and Windows received a 3D remake. It’d be awesome to play it for free through PS Plus!
Finally, you’d have to be living under a rock to have missed the release of Death Stranding on November 8th as a PS4 exclusive. So, next, how about we get to play another Hideo Kojima game for free in December? We’d love to see the psychological horror game P.T. (also a PlayStation 4 exclusive from 2014) featured for free.
