Darksiders III and Arkham Knight are both popular, highly-acclaimed games. If you haven’t had your chance to try either or both, you will be delighted to learn that you can do so for free right now through PlayStation Plus. Keep in mind that they will only be free for this month, so you will need to act quickly if you want to try them.

Subscribers to PlayStation Plus are able to enjoy free games every month through the service. The games which Sony makes available can range greatly in terms of genre, reception, and more. This month’s selection of Darksiders III and Arkham Knight is particularly noteworthy.

You may already be familiar with both of these games. In case you’re not, the better known of the two is Arkham Knight. It came out in 2015 as the fourth installment in the Batman: Arkham series. If you’ve played other games in the series, you have a pretty good idea what you can expect. Reviewers for this title were blown away by the open world, the story, and the voice acting.

What about Darksiders III? This hack-and-slash fantasy adventure game was the follow-up to Darksiders II, and it came out just last year. As such, it is kind of unexpected (though not bizarre) to see it offered for free through PS Plus. But to us, it kind of makes sense. Why? Well, we’d predicted that a Darksiders game might be free in August 2019 through PS Plus. We thought that might be possible since Remnant: From the Ashes came out on August 20th from Gunfire Games, the developer of both Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition and Darksiders III.

Both of these games are well worth playing. So if you are a member of PlayStation Plus, log on and download them for free while you can. And if you are not a PS Plus member, think about grabbing a membership. You’ll get great value from it this month.
