Pokemon GO Datamine Reveals Celebi Special Research And More

Even though no announcements have been made public yet, Niantic has something special coming to Pokemon GO soon. New items, lucky Pokemon and a brand new Celebi themed special research are included in a new update, datamined and revealed by a popular Pokemon GO source.

According to PokemonGOHub, their team has just finished data mining the new update on the famous AR mobile game and found some new additions. Here’s what’s coming to Pokemon GO soon:

Lucky Pokemon

Lucky Pokemon are a new type of special Pokemon, much like the shiny ones. This time their new features won’t include any aesthetic changes, rather than better currency micromanagement. According to PokemonGOHub, lucky Pokemon will require no Stardust to power up, meaning you’ll only need candies and the required trainer level to do the job.

New Pinap Berry

A new type of Pinap Berry has been also datamined from Pokemon GO files, probably called Silver Pinap Berry (not confirmed yet). They will additionally increase the amount of Pokemon Candy received from capture encounters.

Celebi Encounters

Dataminer Chrales has also revealed that Celebi is ready for the worldwide release. Everything it needs for launch is ready, animations, Pokedex screens, camera motions etc, which means that it won’t be long before Niantic drops the big announcement.

Apart from the aforementioned big reveals from datamining Pokemon GO, the popular site revealed a few minor new features coming to the game regarding the friends and trading systems. Here are the new features that were outlined in the official change log:

  • You can sort the Friends list and add nicknames to your friends
  • You can remove Gifts to remove clutter from your inventory
  • You can search for Traded Pokemon
  • Gifts can contain Stardust which is absolutely awesome

Until now, almost all datamining speculations have became true. It won’t be long before those new features get announced too and even if they don’t know, we’re hopeful that we’ll see them somewhen in the future.
