The news never stop with Niantic and Pokemon GO. The developer has just announced the contents of the Pokemon GO December Community Day and, believe us, it is a cool one. Additionally, there’s a new raid involving Cresselia. Last but not least, the Pokemon storage gets upgraded and we love it.
According to the announcement, the Pokemon GO December Community Day will start on November 30 to Sunday, December 2.
Special Bonus Date + Time
- Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India: December 1, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. UTC (GMT +0)
- The Americas and Greenland: December 1, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8)
- Asia-Pacific: December 2, 2018, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. JST (GMT +9)
Furthermore, it will include all previous community day pokemon, all with special moves. Down below is the list of all the mentioned pokemon and their moves.
Here are the Pokemon GO December Community Day pokemon and their special moves:
- Bulbasaur, Chikorita: Frenzy Plant
- Charmander, Cyndaquil: Blast Burn
- Squirtle: Hydro Cannon
- Pikachu: Surf
- Eevee: Last Resort
- Dratini: Draco Meteor
- Mareep: Dragon Pulse
- Larvitar: Smack Down
- Beldum: Meteor Mash
As you might have already figured, all previous bonuses are applicable in this one as well. The December Community Day will include special bonuses like double catch XP, double catch Stardust, and double incubator effectiveness. The bonuses will be available December 1 from 11:00AM to 2:00PM PST.
Our favorite part of the new update though is the storage upgrade Pokemon GO will get. Up until now, you could store only 300 pokemon in your storage. After the new update, the storage will be 2000. This makes your overall capacity to 4 times more than it initially was.
Remember that evolving the aforementioned pokemon will make their charged attacks as the list states. Also, as many sources report, Pikachu will have the Surf attack without having to evolve to Raichu.
