Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee! Will Let You Customize Your Pokemon Partner
The Pokemon Company has revealed that Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee! will let you customize your partner in the game. Customization is a feature that has been growing and growing in popularity since X & Y. Each new entry in the series has expanded upon it in some way since generation six. That trend seems to be continuing with the Let’s Go! games.
Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee! will now broaden the customization options to your Pokemon partner as well. As we already knew, your partner – Pikachu or Eevee depending on which game you get – will always travel around with you in the overworld. In addition, you will get to customize and select certain looks for that partner. The Pokemon Company in Japan recently revealed this feature; thanks, Serebii.
On a separate screen in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee!, you will be able to pick various accessories to adorn Pikachu or Eevee with. The items shown in the announcement include little pink, yellow, and white flowers and even cute ribbons. These items will be attachable to various parts of the Pokemon’s body.
As of right now, we know that there are body parts that you can attach the accessories to; ear, body, and tail. You can see the accessories in action in the screenshots seen above. It is unsure just how many different items you can choose from when customizing in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee! It is also unknown if this is the extent of customization or if you’ll be able to have Pikachu and Eevee wear hats and/or clothes in the game.
The Pokemon Company has also yet to reveal how player customization will work in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee! We don’t know how much you’ll be able to customize your own character in the game just yet. But when we do, you will know, too. Just keep it locked right here.
