Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee! Detail Player Customization, Multiplayer, and Trading
We now have new Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee! details that are sure to excite fans of the upcoming games. The latest gameplay trailer for the duo has revealed a ton of new details regarding player customization, multiplayer (both online and local), and even trading Pokemon. These new details allow fans to have a better idea of what to expect from the series’ first true console RPG.
Many fans were originally shocked when the initial Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee! announcement trailer was released. To some, it seemed like a “simplified” version of the games they had come to know and love. Questions of whether or not multiplayer and trading would be incorporated had many alarmed. Thankfully, we can safely put some concerns to rest now.
The trailer seen above shows player customization in action. We’ve already detailed how you can customize your Pikachu or Eevee partner in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee!, but we now know your trainer will also have many outfits and options to customize as well. You can also customize Pikachu and Eevee’s hairstyles. Interestingly enough, your partner can be male or female, though, we suspect that will be left up to chance.
New Pokemon walking around with your in the world were shown off, too, including the hilarious Magikarp and riding Arcanine. Fans can rest assured that multiplayer will remain intact as you’d expect. There will be local and online multiplayer battles available, as well as the ability to trade Pokemon in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee!
All in all, this trailer does a great job of solidifying Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee! as more akin to the games fans remember. That doesn’t change that it will feature several Pokemon Go integrations like bringing over monsters you’ve collected from the mobile game. That feature has seemed to help make Pokemon Go popular again.
