The newest spin-off in the Pokemon franchise, Pokemon Quest, released just a few weeks ago on the Nintendo Switch as a free-to-start title but starting today, you can download Pokemon Quest on your iOS and Android devices.
Pokemon Quest has you exploring Tumblecube Island where you can befriend Pokemon, head out on expeditions, fight other Pokemon, and level up, in order to advance through some pretty challenging boss fights and dungeons. By finding ingredients out in the field, you can cook up meals to befriend new Pokemon to then add them into your party of three critters. Pokemon Quest may be a free-to-start game, but it’s actually really enjoyable to play without having to make any kind of purchases. Also, only the original 150 Pokemon from the Kanto region are featured in the game, making it truly accessible for old fans of the series or just for the folks who refuse to appreciate any of the newly released Pocket Monsters.
The Official Pokemon YouTube Channel shared a special launch trailer in commemoration of the mobile title, which you can check out below:
Pokemon Quest is now available on the Switch eShop, iOS App Store, and the Google Play Store – free of charge. With it being surprisingly full of content, Pokemon Quest is probably a perfect title to waste some time on while we wait for the upcoming release of the next exciting mainline Pokemon titles: Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee, which is scheduled to release on Nov 16 for the Nintendo Switch.
Have you guys checked out Pokemon Quest yet on your Switch or on your mobile devices? Let us know which platform you prefer to play it on and your feelings on the free-to-start mobile title. We would love to hear your opinions down in the comments section below!
