With Marvel’s Spider-Man coming out soon, we finally have details on new content coming out post-launch. In a PlayStation Blog post, Insomniac Games community manager James Stevenson reveals the release calendar for a three-part story.
Keep on Swinging
Titled Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps, it’ll be a three-part story that focuses on Black Cat, a famous Spider-Man villain who will leave clues throughout the game and appear in the DLC. The first chapter, Marvel’s Spider-Man: The Heist, will come out on October 23rd. Part two, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Turf Wars, will come out sometime in November. Lastly, Part three, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Silver Lining, will come out sometime in December. Additionally, all three pieces of content will feature new challenges and missions, new enemies, and three new suits to unlock.
As of today, you can buy all three installments for $24.99. If you choose to get them individually as they come out, each installment will cost $9.99. If you pre-order the digital deluxe edition of Marvel’s Spider-Man, it’ll include The City That Never Sleeps, additional pre-order bonus content, and a physical Spider-Man pin. Lastly, if you’re going to PAX West in Seattle this weekend, you’ll get a chance to play the game before it comes out.
Marvel’s Spider-Man swings onto PS4’s September 7th. After it comes out, games such as Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and Red Dead Redemption 2 will keep us occupied. Keep it locked to VGR for info on these games and more.
