It’s been about six months since the desert map Miramar made its first debut on PC, but now it’s finally available for everyone playing PUBG on Xbox One. The second PUBG map that players have been waiting for with baited breath is now here to play on as much as you want, or as much as you can stand, if you’re not one of the map’s greatest fans, which is totally understandable.
It’s all part of PUBG’s spring update, which also includes all the game’s new Miramar-specific weapons and a swath of new improvements that were made to the Xbox One version’s stability, load times, and more. Some of the issues that have been resolved also include problems with buildings not loading all the way and some other problems that would make the game crash. Players should see an overall increase in stability as well as, obviously, the map’s debut.
The update also brings the golden tracksuit set and instructor set, new cosmetic upgrades that are available for $4.99 via the Xbox Store, just in case you’re hankering for a new look for your characters. With a new map, you’ve got to start looking your best so you can start getting those chicken dinners, right? It’s only fair, after all.
Miramar has been in testing since April earlier this year on Xbox One, though the PC version has been out and complete since December 2017. Currently, PC users are testing the third map, Sanhok, which has yet to receive a testing period on consoles just yet. It’s coming soon, however, you can bet, which will allow players to have another choice of map to play on rather than having to settle on either Erangel or Miramar. Choices like that do matter, you know.
Have you tested out Miramar on Xbox One yet now that it’s fully available? Let us know what you think!
