Following CD Projekt Red’s appearance at E3 2019, the studio has been slowly drip-feeding the practically rabid fanbase with titbits of information about Cyberpunk 2077; keeping the hype stoked as they build up to a gameplay reveal coming later this year. (The same or similar gameplay which was showed offline to press and attendees at E3.) In a recent video, Lead Quest Designer Paweł Sasko revealed some new information about the Cyberpunk 2077 cars and motorcycles.
CD Projekt Red: Cyberpunk 2077 Cars and Motorcycles Will All Have Radios
Speaking in the video, Sasko confirmed that players in Cyberpunk 2077 will be able to own a garage. Here, they’ll be able to store multiple cars and motorcycles, though he didn’t go into detail about how many players will be able to store, or whether different garages will be available in-game. He did, however, go on to confirm a few details about the vehicles you’ll be storing. Specifically, that all of the cars and motorcycles that players will acquire will feature an inbuilt radio.
Certainly, given the focus on music in Cyberpunk 2077, both with its core soundtrack and in-game bands, this does make sense. Indeed, Sasko went on to say that players will be able to listen to different types of music; possibly hinting that the music available will reflect the character of the six districts of Night City. “So in Cyberpunk,” he says; “you can play the way you want, you can look the way you want, and you can listen to the music that you would like to listen to.”
For now, fans will need to wait until later this year for their next glimpse of Cyberpunk 2077 in action. The studio themselves said ahead of time that the E3 gameplay would look different to what was shown last year. However, initial reports seem to have been nothing but positive. As such, it sounds like fans have plenty to look forward to.
