Rage 2 Gets An Incredibly Odd Collector’s Edition Item

While watching the new Rage 2 E3 gameplay trailer, you might have spotted a funny little in-universe moment where a bandit was watching a TV infomercial for a wall-mounted ‘Ruckus the Crusher’ talking head. Well, as it turns out, any fans out there who want their own Ruckus the Crusher head can make that dream into a reality as long as they’re willing to pony up for Rage 2’s collector’s edition.

Following the trailer’s debut, Bethesda confirmed via Twitter that the Ruckus the Crusher head is a real physical item, and it will be one of several bonus goodies included in Rage 2’s collector’s edition:

The Rage 2 collector’s edition will cost $119.99 and, along with a copy of the game, will come with the following items:

  • A specially designed Steelbook case
  • An exclusive poster
  • A monster truck figurine
  • A ‘Ruckus the Crusher’ wall-mounted talking head
  • Cheat codes from the Wasteland Wizard
  • The ‘BFG’ in-game weapon
  • Digital Deluxe in-game content
  • ‘Rise of the Ghosts’ digital expansion

The collector’s edition will also come with all of the previously unveiled pre-order bonuses for Rage 2 which include an exclusive ‘Cult of the Dead’ in-game mission, a Settler’s Pistol weapon, a Mutant Monster Truck in-game vehicle, and an in-game armor set themed around original Rage protagonist Nicholas Raine. It will certainly make for a great conversation piece...

Rage 2 is scheduled to launch for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC sometime in spring, 2019. Much like its predecessor, the sequel will allow players to explore a vast open-world wasteland while partaking in chaotic vehicle-based and on-foot skirmishes against roving bandits, rabid mutants, and other threats as they ultimately work towards dismantling the villainous Authority.
