Rainway Will Allow You to Stream Your PC Games on Xbox One

Rainway is now officially coming to Xbox One. In an email sent out to us, the company announced that the popular streaming service will be heading to its first official console. This comes after a debacle over it coming to Nintendo Switch, too. The gist of it is that the service will allow you to stream your PC games to your Xbox One console.

Essentially, you’ll be able to play games you own on PC on your Xbox One, presumably using the Xbox’s controller. Not much information was given in the initial announcement. However, we do know that a beta is coming soon for Rainway. Users can go ahead and sign up for the private beta right now. If you’re interested in that, head to this link right here.

Only a “handful” of users will have the chance to try out Rainway on Xbox One. But you can rest assured that it is on its way to the platform for everyone eventually. So, what does this really mean for you? Well, it means that if you own PUBG on PC, you won’t have to buy it again on Xbox One and just stream it there instead.

In fact, you’ll be able to play on Xbox One with your PC friends in games you wouldn’t otherwise be able to. Perhaps the most important thing is that you’ll be able to play games not on Xbox One on there. This includes games from Steam like DOTA 2, Civilization V (which has only come to Switch in terms of consoles), and Two Point Hospital.

Rainway Xbox One opens up a ton of possibilities for users that isn’t possible currently. We don’t currently have a release date for the service on Xbox but it is coming soon. As such, stay tuned right here for future announcements regarding the streaming service.
