Raptors’ Kawhi Leonard, Pascal Siakam Score New NBA 2K19 MyTeam Playoffs Moments Cards
With the NBA Playoffs still in progress, the NBA 2K19 MyTeam crew is continuing to recognize star players from teams. Thanks to MyTeam Playoffs Moments packs, there are high-rated cards released for players with key performances. They’ve included unsung heroes like Orlando’s D.J. Augustin and bench star Lou Williams of the Clippers. Now, several Toronto Raptors including Kawhi Leonard are being recognized along with one of Williams’ teammates.
NBA 2K19 MyTeam Playoffs Moments for Raptors’ Leonard, Siakam
When the season was underway, many analysts and fans quickly noted that the Toronto Raptors might be the team to beat. The addition of Kawhi Leonard to the lineup has been big for a franchise looking for a first-ever NBA finals appearance. However, Pascal Siakam has also been emerging as a key star on the team, along with All-Star Kyle Lowry.
The Raptors are currently up 3-1 in their best-of-seven series against Orlando. Kawhi Leonard put up 34 points, six rebounds, and two assists in the 107-85 Game 4 win. Siakam contributed 16 points, six boards, and two assists in that game. However, he put up a playoff career-high of 30 points and grabbed 11 boards in the Game 3 victory.
As a result, NBA 2K19 MyTeam dropped a sweet new Pascal Siakam card in the Playoffs Moments packs. He’s got a Pink Diamond now with a 96 overall rating. His teammate Kawhi Leonard brings a 94 overall with a Diamond card.
Clippers rookie gets MyTeam Playoffs Moments card
In the first batches of cards, NBA 2K19 recognized Clippers’ stars Lou Williams and teammate Montrezl Harrell. Now they’re recognizing the rookie with a name that sorta comes close to being as tough as Giannis’ to fully say. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is just 20 so he’s got plenty of potential for his future in the league. Recently, the young point guard put up 25 points in a loss to the Warriors on Sunday. That included a 3-for-5 shooting rate from downtown, which was something he reportedly wasn’t as confident in heading to the league.
A brand new Shai Ruby card is now available in the Playoffs Moments packs. He’ll have an 88 rating on that card. Some gamers might find him to be a suitable reserve point guard for their MyTeam roster. Others might prefer to keep the lineup stocked with 6-foot-5 or taller PGs. Either way, if you land the card, you might be able to auction it for Clippers fans building their own special MyTeam.
