RBI Baseball 19 Roster Update: Christian Yelich, Austin Meadows Continue To Dominate

The fourth R.B.I. Baseball 19 roster update has been released. Once again, a lot of exciting baseball action took place, and RBI Baseball has you covered!

RBI Baseball 19 roster update milestones

When RBI Baseball 19 roster updates occur, they are pretty straightforward. If a player is doing well, he will rise. Likewise, if he is stumbling, he will fall in the ratings. One stat that is worth bringing up has nothing to do with improving or falling in the ratings. It is just an oddity.

For the first time in 13 years, Reds slugger Joey Votto has finally popped out to the first baseman. After 1,591 games and over 6,800 plate appearances, Votto had never popped out to the first baseman. Now he has. Votto’s streak of not popping out to the catcher or pitcher is still intact.

RBI Baseball 19 roster movers and shakers

Several players have made big jumps in this week’s RBI Baseball 19 roster updates. Tampa Bay’s Austin Meadows is one of them. Meadows received an increase in Boosted Contact, Speed and Power.

Meadows is having an outstanding start to the 2019 season. So far, he hit six home runs, drove in 19 and is hitting a gaudy .351.

While Meadows is red hot, Christian Yelich is even hotter. Yelich gained another boost in power this week as he hit his league leading 13th home run on Saturday (April 20). Yelich also leads the majors in RBI with 31.

Three others worth noting are Shin-Soo Choo, Jose Quintana and Christian Walker.

Choo, the Rangers DH/OF is off to an incredible start to the ’19 campaign and this week was no different. In the past week, Choo has put up a .450/.542/.800 slash line. He has two doubles, a triple and a home run to his credit this week and is currently batting a whopping .345. The RBI crew boosted Choo’s Contact (+3) and Power (+3) ratings.

Quintana has made two starts in the past week and both of them were outstanding. How is this for a stat line? 14 IP with a combined 18 strikeout with just one walk. And oh, by the way, no runs allowed and an ERA of 0.00. Quintana’s Drop went up (+8) along with his Stamina (+4) ratings.

Last but not least is Walker. The Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman has been on fire, posting a .318/.444/.636 slash line in the past week. These type numbers will help fans forget about Paul Goldschmidt in a hurry. Walker’s Contact (+6), Power (+3), and Speed (+2) ratings all jumped up.
