The Red Dead Online Halloween Pass, first available in late-October, was originally due to end in a few days’ time, on the 16th of November. However, Rockstar has today announced that the Pass will be extended for a further two weeks. Players now have until the 30th to enjoy the game’s spooky Halloween content.

“The Red Dead Online Halloween Pass is being extended until November 30th,” writes Rockstar; “to unlock all manner of unearthly items, filters, photo backdrops and more. Don’t miss out, before spine-chilling rewards such as the Zavala Machete cross over into the stuff of myths and stories told ’round the campfire in the dead of night.”
Available as a purchasable upgrade, only available for a limited-time, the Red Dead Online Halloween Pass features 20 ranks of Halloween-themed rewards. These include, for example, the Zavala Machete, the Cemetery Photo Studio background, the Gallows Blindfold, and new horse masks. Players can even get a new Gothic Decor theme for their Moonshine Bar. All of these rank rewards up to your current Pass Rank will unlock immediately when you purchase the Halloween Pass.
Once the Halloween Pass expires, now on the 30th of November, all of the Halloween content you unlock will be permanently unlocked. However, you will no longer be able to complete further ranks to unlock additional rewards.
Alongside the Halloween Pass extension, Rockstar are also extending access to the current week’s bonuses, although not for as long. These will be available until the 23rd of November, in 10 days’ time. These bonuses include 50% extra pay on all bounties for Bounty Hunters, while players who complete Legendary Bounties will get a special 40% discount offer for an Established or Higher Bounty Hunter Item. If you’re a Bounty Hunter at rank 5 or above, you’ll also get a free Role Outfit, Accessory, or Emote.
