Let’s face it, you are going to need a lot of money in Red Dead Online if you want to run around getting that Arabian horse and find out how to dual wield. One of the ways that you can do this is by using the Red Dead Online sell horses feature. Players who checked out the base singleplayer story mode will be familiar with this mechanic.
In the story mode revolving around Arthur Morgan, you can steal any horse you want and sell it. You can even sell the horses that you find and tame in the wild. However, not all features from the singleplayer work the same online. Is this the same case with the Red Dead Online sell horses feature? Let’s dive right in and find out.
How to Red Dead Online Sell Horses

Let’s go ahead and get it right out of the way that, yes, you can sell horses in Red Dead Online. Unfortunately, it is not so simple as you would expect, though. Sadly, it doesn’t work as well as it does in the singleplayer campaign. This is because you are limited in how you can sell horses.
As of right now, there is no Red Dead Online sell horses feature for horses that you have stolen. You are currently only able to sell horses that you legally own already. This is pretty frustrating since a big part of the game is robbing whomever you like. This should be a great way to accumulate money but it isn’t.
However, if you are interested in still selling horses in Red Dead Online, you can do that at the stable. Visit the nearest stable to you and select the manage your owned horses option. Do this and you will have the option to sell the legitimate horses that you own for a bit of cash.
