Red Dead Redemption 2: All Currently Available Black Friday Deals

Black Friday doesn’t technically begin until later this week (on Friday obviously), but the deals are already going live now. There are plenty of game discounts available, including discounts for recently released games like Red Dead Redemption 2. Below, we’ve gathered some RDR2 Black Friday deals which you don’t have to wait for.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Black Friday Deals

Some Red Dead Redemption 2 Black Friday deals are live right now.

Sadly, most of the current deals for Red Dead Redemption 2 don’t involve a straight discount (at least for now). Instead, certain retailers are either discounting the more expensive editions or including bonus physical items with the standard edition.

Over at Best Buy, physical copies of RDR2’s standard edition come with an exclusive collapsible cup. At Walmart, meanwhile, buyers can purchase a special Steelbook version of the game’s standard edition. As of this writing, the Best Buy deal isn’t yet available, though the Walmart Steelbook edition is available for pre-order.

If you’re looking for a simple discount on the standard edition, you can turn to Ebay. The online retailer currently has the standard edition of RDR2 listed at $48, but only for the Xbox One version. If you don’t mind buying digital, both the PlayStation Network and Xbox Store will be discounting RDR 2’s Special Edition. The normally $80 Special Edition will be reduced to $72, granting access to the following special perks at a discount:

  • Exclusive Bank Robbery and Gang Hideout story missions
  • The exclusive ‘Nuevo Paraiso’ story mode outfit
  • A Dappled Black Thoroughbred horse
  • Three free weapons at the gunsmith
  • A free Talisman and Medallion which grant stat bonuses
  • Stat boosts, bonus activity cash payouts, and discounts for camp upgrades

Again, as of this writing the digital Special Edition discounts aren’t yet live. You’ll have to wait until Black Friday is actually here to take advantage of them. Still, if you’ve been holding off, $72 isn’t bad considering how much extra content the Special Edition comes with.
