Many players are wondering about how many chapters are in Red Dead Redemption 2. The length of the game is said to be at least 50 to 60 hours just for the main story so how many chapters is that? Though the first chapter of the game is brief and much like a tutorial, the second chapter is a whole lot longer.
This can certainly make it seem like the answer to how many chapters are in Red Dead Redemption 2 is few. In fact, it can certainly seem like the chapters aren’t many but are very, very long. However, the answer to that question may very well surprise. We are going to go over just how many parts in this very long Western game.
How Many Chapters Are in Red Dead Redemption 2?
First and foremost, there are some warnings we must put in place. Note that this is slight spoilers for the game so just be warned. While it doesn’t really spoil anything about the story or what have you, it does spoil how far you are. In addition, the number can be surprising so we don’t blame you if you don’t want to have that spoiled.
Still here? Okay, so there are a total of six chapters in the game. However, that isn’t all. In addition to those six initial parts, there is a two-part epilogue at the end. That alone adds up to at least another section so be aware. This can be certainly surprising given it can be upwards of 20 hours before you make it to the third part.
However, we aren’t surprised since Rockstar did say that the main story takes around 60 hours or so. That’s mainly just taking the story missions into account and not all of the side stuff you can do. Even better, Red Dead Online releases next month and will add even more hours to the game.
