Red Dead Redemption 2: How to Retrieve Lost Legendary Bear Pelt

For some players, knowing how to retrieve a Red Dead Redemption 2 lost legendary bear pelt is needed. For whatever reason, you have lost it and you now need it back. This is because the legendary bear is one-of-a-kind so missing out on its rewards would be a disgrace. Just so you know, this guide is meant for those who have lost the pelt and not for those looking to kill the bear.

We understand, though. We actually had to retrieve the Red Dead Redemption 2 lost legendary bear pelt, too. For us, we died soon after killing the bear due to already having very low health. The game booted back up and alas we were notified that the pelt was gone. While the other pieces remained in our inventory, the pelt was gone. The same can happen to you as well.

Thankfully, there is a fix for this problem. Rockstar is great about thinking ahead about stuff like this and this situation is no different. Though you don’t have the pelt currently, it isn’t lost forever. What you will want to do is head to the Trapper in Saint Denis. If you haven’t met the Trapper yet, keep progressing the main story until you do.

The Trapper will have your  Red Dead Redemption 2 lost legendary bear pelt in his possession already. Unfortunately, this does mean you won’t be able to sell it but it only goes for around $60 anyway. Thankfully, you will be able to use it for its precious crafting purposes, though.

Better yet, you didn’t have to lug it all the way there yourself as the game does it for you. For more fixes like these, make sure to keep it locked right here at VGR for all of your Red Dead Redemption 2 needs.
