Is Red Dead Redemption 2 coming to PC? This is a question that a lot of players are wondering right now. With exactly a week left until its global launch, it’s an important answer players need. As of right now, the launch next week is only set to be for PS4 and Xbox One; no signs of PC anywhere.
Regardless, many players are wondering if it will happen later on. It wouldn’t be so surprising given that Grand Theft Auto V also come to PC eventually. So, is Red Dead Redemption 2 coming to PC? We’ve got the best answer for you right now based on what we know about the upcoming Western title.
Is Red Dead Redemption 2 Coming to PC?
The short answer to this question is that, no, it isn’t currently. Rockstar Games has yet to officially announce if the game will ever be coming to PC. As of right now, PS4 and Xbox One are the only platforms that we can guarantee it will release on. However, that doesn’t mean that all hope is lost for a PC port.
Like we mentioned above, Grand Theft Auto V came to PC after its original release on Xbox 360 and PS3. In addition, it brought some great additions to the title that weren’t found in the original versions. It is possible that Rockstar could have a similar situation with Red Redemption 2. We don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t come to PC eventually.
Unfortunately, we don’t expect any official announcement about the PC release until sometime next year. This is because Rockstar Games has its hands full currently with the console release and the release of Red Dead Online. Here’s hoping that the PC version comes with its own interesting features.
