Where to Find the Leather Working Tools in Red Dead Redemption 2
You can get the leather working tools through the Ledger. First, you’ll need to complete a few simple prerequisite tasks. You will need to get the prologue out of the way and arrive at the Horseshoe Overlook campsite. Then, you’ll need to complete at least one debt collection quest for Her Strauss. Once that is done, you’ll have some funds you can add to the contributions box.
At that point, you can access the leather working tools. As mentioned, you do this via the Ledger. In case you do not know how to get into the Ledger, here are the steps:
1. In camp, head to Dutch’s tent.
2. Look in the back for the Ledger. The game will inform you that you can, “Use the ledger to purchase a camp upgrade.”
3. Once you are in front of it, select it with the X key on Xbox One or the Square key on PS4.
4. This will open the Ledger and display the available camp upgrades.
5. Turn to the final page. Here you will see Leather Working Tools listed.
6. Pay $225 to obtain the upgrade.
7. That’s it! Just close out of the Ledger. You can do this using the B key on Xbox One or the Circle key on PS4.
