So far, there is no official black version of the DualSense PS5 controller. But it is hard to imagine that one might not eventually become available. But what would it look like? One fan has put together a gorgeous black DualSense controller concept that would make the most of the controller’s design. Let’s take a look.

Here is the black DualSense controller concept submitted by SalokinNoraa on Reddit:
They write, “It’s not perfect of course, but this is how I think a black DualSense should look. Pure black looks ugly imo, it doesn’t work for the DualSense’s design which was specifally made for two tones. Black with grey is the answer.”
We couldn’t agree more with their reasoning, and are impressed by their flawless visual execution of the DualSense controller concept! The controller does look better with two tones; they help to emphasize the lines of the design. If it were all black, it would also probably look pretty blocky. This is a more elegant look. Hopefully Sony is paying attention here, although they probably already are hard at work on their own black DualSense design. Whatever they come up with, we are sure it will look great.
