Now that Bungie has begun fine-tuning Destiny 2’s existing Exotic armor pieces, one passionate Redditor decided to mock up some potential changes for several of the game’s existing Titan-specific Exotics. There’s no word on whether Bungie plans to address every single Exotic armor piece in the game, but if it does hope to one day give Titan Exotics some love, it should definitely be paying attention to what this Redditor has to say.
Bungie has previously confirmed that more Exotic armor changes are coming in July (and even more could potentially come after that), so Redditor yoursweetlord7014 went ahead and drew up this list of seven different Titan Exotics that missed the first round of changes. The list is pretty comprehensive, including descriptions for how each armor piece currently functions, why the current function needs to be changed, and how it could be potentially changed to be of more use to players.
For example, the Exotic chest armor piece Crest of Alpha Lupi currently spawns an extra light orb when the player activates their super and also grants a minor healing pulse when the player uses their barricade ability. However, as yoursweetlord7014 notes, the healing pulse isn’t very powerful, and one extra light orb isn’t that big of a deal, especially when all players are now spawning more orbs with their masterwork weapons. The solution that yoursweetlord7014 outlines would involve granting a 50 percent chance for a light orb to spawn every time the player scored a kill while their super was active, and also giving the armor piece a new perk that allowed the player to revive teammates faster. This would make the Crest of Alpha Lupi a much more desirable option for all team-based activities while also giving the Titan some added survivability.
We’ll have to wait a little while before we see what new Exotic armor changes Bungie itself is considering, but in the meantime players can participate in the newly revamped Faction Rallies PvE event.
