Resident Evil 2’s recently launched Ghost Survivors DLC has plenty of hidden secrets for players to uncover. The most substantial of those secrets is a hidden fourth scenario which joins the three default scenarios. Titled No Way Out, the fourth scenario plays a bit differently from the first three. Also, players have to unlock access to No Way Out before they can play it. In this guide, we’ll explain exactly how to do so.
Resident Evil 2 How to Unlock the No Way Out Scenario
It’s pretty easy to guess how one unlocks the No Way Out scenario, but consider this the official confirmation. Unlocking No Way Out requires that you first beat the three default scenarios. Once you clear No Time to Mourn, Runaway, and Forgotten Soldier, No Way Out opens up. The three scenarios must be cleared on their default difficulty level to unlock No Way Out.
In No Way Out, players get to control Sheriff Daniel Cortini. You might remember him as the unfortunate police officer who became zombie chow in the back of the gas station. No Way Out presents an alternate reality where Sheriff Cortini survives his initial zombie encounter. However, he also now finds himself trapped in a gas station surrounded by a zombie horde.
No Way Out plays a bit differently than the first three Ghost Survivors scenarios. Rather than getting from one point to another, players merely have to survive an onslaught of 100 different zombies. This means that No Way Out is basically the Resident Evil 2 remake’s version of a horde mode-type gameplay scenario.
Thankfully, Sheriff Cortini’s pistol has unlimited ammunition and he can scavenge for additional weapons from fallen zombies. The bad news is that the scenario also throws several different zombie types at you. These include the three new zombie types from previous Ghost Survivors scenarios (purple smoke, Pale Head, and A-Gear zombies).
