Looking at all the available info for the Resident Evil 2 remake, it’s easy to see why critics love it. Capcom went above and beyond by restoring iconic elements like the RCP Station and its myriad of puzzles. The remake even includes classic secrets and easter eggs like the Tofu and Hunk modes. And of course there’s a certain mutated amphibious monster waiting in the game’s sewers.
Best of all, Capcom has already announced plans to support the Resident Evil 2 remake with post-launch DLC. Over the coming months, the remake is getting both a Ghost Survivors mode and retro-inspired character model outfits. Both of those content additions will be entirely free for all players. The remake’s 1-shot demo has also been quite popular, though a surprisingly large number of players aren’t finishing it.
