For eagle-eyed Resident Evil fans who enjoy collecting things, Capcom added a Lore Explorer achievement/trophy into Resident Evil 2. Unlocking Lore Explorer requires finding every file and document in the game, no mean feat even for dedicated players. Fortunately, we went ahead and listed every findable document and file along with its respective location. By following this guide, you can unlock Lore Explorer in no time.
Resident Evil 2 File and Document Locations
Similar to Resident Evil 2’s Mr. Raccoon Toys, some files and documents are specific to either Leon or Claire. This means you’ll have to play through the game at least twice to unlock the Lore Explorer achievement/trophy. Also, unlike the Mr. Raccoon toys, found files and documents don’t carry over across playthroughs, so make sure you’re thorough.
