Apex Legends Season 5 is now less than a week away from release, and as Respawn builds hype with the release of new trailers and content details, the studio has also released a selection of new video backgrounds. These are freely available for fans to download and use for themselves.
The New Apex Legends Video Backgrounds
“Now you can share your Apex love for all your friends and coworkers to see!” writes Respawn; “Check out our assortment of Kings Canyon and Worlds Edge backgrounds, and add them as your backdrop to liven up your video chats. You might even discover a potential squad member in the virtual crowd.”
Respawn has updated their official media page to contain a new selection of downloadable content. This includes no less than 23 different video backgrounds, captured all across both the Kings Canyon and World’s Edge maps. They have also updated the media page to contain a collection of new high-resolution screenshots and wallpapers. Many of these were already available, but hadn’t been collected together into one place until now. As such, fans should have an easier time finding this sort of content in future.
Apex Legends Season 5 is due to begin early next week, on the 12th of May. On that date, players will be able to try out Loba for the first time, as well as set foot in the new Kings Canyon: Unearthed map rework. Plus, the all-new Season Quest will also begin, meaning that players will start to find Daily Treasure Packs during matches. (The first Weekly Hunt of the new Quest won’t become available until the 19th, however.) Of course, a new Battle Pass will also be launching to accompany the Season 5, together with Apex Legends Ranked Series 4. Respawn typically releases a Battle Pass trailer before the start of each Season, so fans can likely expect at least one more trailer before the Season officially launches.
