Countless fans that have played Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout during its beta. At that time, the beta was perceived with positive feedback although there were things that Treyarch had to address. One of those things is the revive system, which for most players felt too quick. Treyarch now promises that the revival time will be double in the upcoming battle royale mode at launch.
Revive Times Will Change In Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout At Launch
According to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout director David Vonderhaal, the revival times in the mode are bound to change. Speaking to YouTuber “tejbz“, Vonderhaal pointed out that the feature was indeed too quick in the beta. Tejbz said:
“The resurrect is very quick, or it was very quick in the beta. It’s actually going to be twice as long, at least that’s what David said. He has opted with twice as long.”
Even more absurd is the fact that the Consumer perk lets you revive 20% quicker. With this and the times provided during the beta, reviving was as easy as ABC. However, Treyarch doesn’t want to encourage short games and will tweak the game properly to avoid that.

So, expect the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout revive times to be more lengthy and “fair” when the game releases. It goes without saying that more tweaks will be coming to the battle royale mode. Those were provided by players during the beta and will be taken under consideration for early updates.
