A few months before Battlefield V releases, DICE is still working on the ongoing Road to Battlefield V in their previous title. While the event up until now included items for Battlefield 1, it now gives players two skins for the upcoming game, with the name “Arras”, indicating that there might be a map set in France in DICE’s next title.
The news comes from Reddit, where a user posted an image coming from his in-game menu in Battlefield 1, showing that he claimed to specific skins for the upcoming Battlefield V. The skins, as we already know, will be redeemable as soon as the game releases, giving you access to anything you unlocked on the previous title along with exclusive skins from the pre-order editions.
The skins are named “BFV ARRAS WEAPON SKIN”, hinting to a possibly location in Battlefield V. We already knew that the game will feature maps in real locations that we haven’t seen yet and this could be one of them. Arras is the capital of the Pas-de-Calais department, which forms part of the region of Hauts-de-France in the north part of the country.

DICE has already revealed that France will be the setting of at least one War Story, as the Battlefield V single player campaign mode will include ordinary tales of people during World War 2. Arras is undeniably a beautiful city that we wouldn’t see destroyed in the upcoming game, but, let’s face it, those iconic settings are the ones that players enjoy the most.
If you already own Battlefield 1, you should take part in the Road to Battlefield V event since it will give you everything you might need to start the game both technically and optically. We don’t know what the future holds for the event but it seems that this has a lot of information to share about the upcoming game.
