Rumors have been flying around almost continuously this year about possible sequels to Rockstar Games titles. Now, a leak from an employee has added fresh fuel to the fire, leading to a new flare in the rumors. According to the employee, the company is working on an “unannounced project” of some sort. How Do We Know Rockstar May Be Working on an “Unannounced Project?”
Where did the leak come from? The answer is the ArtStation page of senior character artist Emil Mujanovic. You will not find the statement in question on the page now, but that is only because Mujanovic removed it when the leak made headlines. Before, the page mentioned he was working on an “unannounced project” with the company.
What could the “unannounced project” be? There are a number of possibilities. Among them are GTA VI, Bully 2, and L.A. Noire 2. Indeed, it is even possible that the project could be something else entirely that is not on this list. For all we know, it could even be a brand new IP, though that seems less likely. But it seems like the most likely of these candidates is the most obvious one, which is GTA VI. How soon will we find out? We are guessing it will be a while longer, but there will be plenty more rumors in the meantime.
