Rocksteady Gets Trolled Even By Mortal Kombat’s Creator For Not Announcing A Superman Video Game
These Superman video game rumors ruined so many people, making them obsess over it to a point where their disappointment after Rocksteady’s absence during E3 2018 was devastating. After seeing Krypton’s star, Cameron Cuffe, expressing his disappointment through one of his tweets, Mortal Kombat’s co-creator Ed Boon becamethe next person showing his feelings for no Superman video game announcement, but in a much more humorous way.
A few Rocksteady team members caused all these rumors to go around, mostly because they were teasing a new game announcement before E3 2018. However, E3 passed with not even one single appearance from Rocksteady, for which they apologized and promised they are working on a new video game while listening to players’ and fans’ feedback.
Joining fans’ and Cuffe’s comments on Rocksteady’s absence, Ed Boon, co-creator of Mortal Kombat, decided to express his feelings by tweeting a fun comment regarding future Rocksteady games, saying:

Pretty sure most of the fans are feeling the same about Rocksteady’s absence from E3, especially after all these rumors and teases that had started before the convention. However, it would be wrong to assume that there will not be any kind of Superman video game in the future, mostly because Rocksteady has been reading our constant comments and feedback on the subject. Additionally, in their apology tweet, they mentioned the development of a new video game in progress while stating that they have heard fans’ desires loud and clear.
The rumors regarding a Superman video game did not preclude the possibility of a game involving various heroes apart from Superman. Knowing Rocksteady is working on a new project, that could mean many possible titles, including a Superman one, a Justice League one or a new Batman Arkham video game. We simply have to wait and see with what they are going to surprise us with. Whatever it is, it will definitely be as good as their other works.
