If you have an interest in playing Stories Untold, the horror game from No Code, on PS4, we may have good news for you. There is a leak from Pan European Game Information (PEGI) which suggests that Stories Untold on PS4 may become a reality in the near future.
What We Know About Stories Untold on PS4
Stories Untold was originally released on PC, before being ported to Nintendo Switch in January 2017. But as of right now, the game still is not available to play on PlayStation 4 consoles.
But PEGI recently put up this rating page. Look on the right, and you will notice that the platform listed is PlayStation 4, and the release date says March 16th, 2020. Now, being as that was days ago, this page is a placeholder. But it seems like a hopeful sign that Stories Untold on PS4 may be happening.
The description for the game reads, “Stories Untold is a narrative-driven experimental adventure game, that bends the genre into something completely unique,” reads an official pitch of the game. “Combining a mix of classic text-adventure, point-and-click and more, 4 short stories are packaged together into a single mysterious anthology.”
Additionally, the notes for the game describe it as featuring a “gorgeous retro-aesthetic” as well as a “sublime synth-wave horror soundtrack, inspired by 80s horror soundtracks.”
So, hopefully this rumor will turn out to hold some weight. Maybe soon we will be able to play Stories Untold on PS4. In the meantime, you can catch up on other news about PS4 and PS5 in our PlayStation news section. While there may be a delay in the launch of the next generation consoles, there is a lot of exciting news coming out about both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
