Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is a viable game to play on the Nintendo Switch if you’re in Japan. And, according to fans, it works well and has earned positive reception. But what about if Assassin’s Creed for the Nintendo Switch was a thing too? And I don’t mean just one game, oh no. I mean an Assassin’s Creed compilation, made just for the Switch.
While there hasn’t been confirmation on this, and thus, everything should be taken with a pinch of salt, even I have to admit I’m excited at that possibility.
This information comes from Nintendo Life, who first noticed the news. Thanks to them, it has been revealed that the German retailer MediaMarkt have listed an Assassin Creed’s game. But not just any Assassin’s Creed game. An Assassin’s Creed compilation. One that is said to be heading for the Nintendo Switch, as well as the PS4 and Xbox One.
Assassin’s Creed Game Compilations: Is This Rumor True?
As you may be able to guess, we’re not 100% sure that this is true. What we do know, from MediaMarkt’s website, is that it’ll be coming out next year, 2019. Its title is Assassin’s Creed Compilation, which could mean a number of things. As fans will know, the Ezio Collection is already available on the PS4 and Xbox One. So, if that’s the case, that may rule out Ezio getting an appearance on Nintendo Switch.
On the other hand, there are a lot of other games that aren’t centered around Ezio. Such as the first Assassin’s Creed and spin-off games, like Rogue. If that’s the case, it could mean that these are the games the compilation is talking about.
That is, of course, if MediaMarkt’s information is accurate in the first place.
The Games Awards 2018 is said to hold some exciting announcements coming up. Will this be a game that’s announced during the Awards? I can’t wait to find out.
