The Fallout 76 Safe for Work side quest isn’t necessarily easy to find, but is in fact part of a longer chain of side quests. The quest takes place entirely within Morgantown Airport in the Forest region, but you won’t be able to start it until you’ve completed a couple of other quests. Once you do, this quest is certainly worth doing; very few quests offer a guaranteed legendary item as a reward, after all!
How to Complete the Fallout 76 Safe for Work Side Quest
To start the Fallout 76 Safe for Work side quest, you’ll first need to have completed “Tentative Plans“. Note that you will also need to have done the “Second Helpings,” and “Thirst Things First,” quests in order to unlock Tentative Plans. Safe for Work is the final chapter of the quests associated with Responder training. Once you complete Tentative Plans, you will receive a miscellaneous quest which directs you to “Register for more advanced Responder training.”
This miscellaneous quest will direct you to a terminal on the upper floor of Morgantown Airport. On the terminal, select the “Volunteers: Advanced Training,” topic to start the Safe for Work quest. To start with, you’ll need to put the Patrol: Training Exercise Holotape into your Pip-Boy and listen to it. This will give you a better understanding of your objectives. First, you need to check the triage area. Head outside and find the triage centre terminal which is in one of the medical tents. Select the “Safe Control” topic to open the adjacent safe and retrieve the next holotape.
Listen to the Patrol: Triage Centre Holotape for your next objective. This time you’ll be heading for the processing centre. This area is on the northern side of Morgantown Airport. Look for a large blue storage container; inside, you’ll find the body of Responder Rocky, who has the Bravo Station Key. You can use this key to open the nearby safe and collect the third holotape.
The Patrol: Processing Centre Holotape will direct you to the medical clinic. This building can be found over on the eastern side of the airport. Confusingly, the sign outside actually reads “Laboratory,” rather than medical clinic. In this building you can find a yellow crate on a bed containing the fourth holotape. The Patrol: Medical Clinic Holotape will send you to the airport’s traffic control tower, which should be easy to find. At the top of the tower, use the terminal and select the “Resource Requests” topic, then “Requests”. At last, you’ll receive the fifth and final holotape; the Patrol: Control Tower Holotape. Listening to this will complete the quest. For completing the Safe for Work side quest, you’ll receive random ammo and aid items, as well as guaranteed bobby pins. You’ll also receive one guaranteed random legendary weapon or armour piece.
