Plenty of games that were initially tied to digital distribution are now getting their physical version. This is more frequent with ports of games that come to other consoles. Such is the case with Skullgirls 2nd Encore. This game is now available for pre-orders on the Nintendo Switch. Furthermore, the game will have its very own physical edition with added goodies.
Skullgirls 2nd Encore Physical Edition Pre-Orders Available
Skullgirls is a cult-classic fighting game that originally came to last-gen consoles. The game is known for its extremely accessible yet complex gameplay. Not only that, but the characters have a lot of personality going for them as well. It’s quite loved in the Fighting Game Community for that reason alone.
Lab Zero Games, the developer of Skullgirls, added more content as years went by. Now, the game’s 2nd Encore expansion added Challenges, fully voiced Story Mode, Trials, DLC characters, and more. Now, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One players will be able to enjoy the cult-classic fighting game.
However, the Nintendo Switch version of Skullgirls 2nd Encore also has a physical version provided by Skybound Games. The physical version of the game will also come with quite a few added goodies for collectors. The listing on Skybound’s website mentions that the pre-order bonuses include:
- Physical Game Copy for Nintendo Switch
- Skullgirls Original Soundtrack. With songs by composer Michiru Yamane, on a never-before-released 12” Vinyl Record.
- A Skullgirls themed Switch Controller Skin.
The Pre-orders for the game will end on March 31 (Or while supplies last). Furthermore, this limited pre-order version of the game will only cost $49.99 USD. Definitely an accessory to include in your gaming collection. In addition, Skybound Games also made a trailer to promote this new version of the game. You can check it out below:
