Enderal is one of the most popular total conversion mods available for The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. The mod is already available via its own website. However, the team behind it, SureAI, has now launched an independent Steam page for the Skyrim mod Enderal. Although it is not yet available on the platform, it will eventually be downloadable as an independent game.
The Total Conversion Skyrim Mod Enderal on Steam
As the official website for Enderal describes; “Enderal is a total conversion mod for TES V: Skyrim: a game modification that is set in its own world with its own landscape, lore, and story. It offers an impressive open world, all for the player to explore, overhauled skill systems and gameplay mechanics, and a dark, psychological storyline with believable characters”. The free mod requires only the base game of Skyrim, not any of its DLC. The official website describes it as having between 30 and 100 hours of expected playtime.
Recently, SureAI launched a standalone Steam page for Enderal, which positions the mod as an independent game. It is planned to release on Steam sometime before the end of the year. When it does, fans will be able to download the mod as a separate standalone file, without interfering with the Skyrim game files. Of course, players will still need a copy of Skyrim installed on their computer to run Enderal, but both games will be able to exist independently of one another. Both will be playable without causing any changes to the other; “The installation will no longer interfere with your Skyrim directory,” explains the announcement post from SureAI. Enderal will launch on Steam for free, along with its DLC Forgotten Shores. SureAI has yet to specify a precise launch date for the mod on the platform.
