Smoking Xbox Series X Console Videos Are Fake

Have you seen videos recently that seem to show smoking Xbox Series X consoles? The videos are pretty freaky, and they might have you feeling worried, particularly given previous rumors that the Xbox Series X might be prone to overheating. But we have some good news for you, and that is that these videos are fakes. While they do show Xbox Series X consoles, the smoke you see in the videos isn’t coming from the technology. How were they made? Let’s find out.

No, the Smoking Xbox Series X Console Videos Aren’t Real

It turns out all you need to produce a smoking Xbox Series X console is … a vape. Yep. That is where all that smoke in those videos is really coming from. So, that is a relief, right?

Nevertheless, Microsoft is apparently looking into the issue, just to make sure that all the videos are fake. Frankly, we are not concerned, and we are pretty sure they are not either. They are just going the extra mile with due diligence. Even though it probably isn’t necessary, we certainly appreciate it.
