SEGA has announced that Sonic Mania Adventures Part 3 is available right now for everyone everywhere for absolutely free. Don’t know what Adventures is? It’s basically a five-part animated mini-series about Sonic and the gang as they arrive on the Angel Island. Today marks the release of the third episode in the animated series. Entitled “Sonic and Knuckles”, this third episode stars Knuckles the Echnida.
Sonic Mania Adventures Part 3 follows Knuckles on his quest to protect the Master Emerald on Angel Island from anyone who would want to take it, including Dr. Eggman and Sonic. However, there is a mysterious figure that isn’t Eggman or Sonic who appears in this third episode. We won’t spoil for you who it is so you’ll have to watch it for yourself.
Sonic Mania Adventures Part 3 is just over two and a half minutes long in length, making for a quick and enjoyable watch. This allows the episode to waste no time in getting to the action, as it is the shortest one yet. If you’re reading this and you haven’t taken the six or so total minutes to watch the first two episodes that have each accumulated views in the millions, you totally should! The Sonic Mania Adventures Part 3 doesn’t end here with this episode, as the definitive version of the hit 2D game it is based on releases very soon. Sonic Mania Plus will be releasing on July 17th, 2018. This version will include reimagined zones and a brand new encore mode when it releases on Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One.
