The Second Sony Player Celebration Program Challenge Is On
This month, Sony offered its first community challenge through the Player Celebration Program. Those who participated worked toward a common goal of playing 125,000 games while earning 500,000 trophies combined. If you participated, you can look forward to getting a free PlayStation 4 theme as a reward. Also, you can dive in on the next community challenge!
It Is Time for the Second Sony Player Celebration Program Challenge
PlayStation made the following tweet:
Replying to itself, it said, “Goal 1 Achieved. Congrats PlayStation Player Celebration Community – this PS4 theme is all yours. Look out for a system notification next week.”
So, keep an eye out for that system notification if you helped the community work toward this goal.
Meanwhile, the PlayStation twitter account also posted the following announcement:
“It’s time to tackle PlayStation Player Celebration Community Goal 2. Play 375K games. Earn 1.5M Trophies. Unlock these five iconic character avatars.”
Progress in the community challenges is cumulative; players are not starting over at zero each time. So, you should not be daunted by the larger and larger goals. Indeed, the third challenge will require playing 675,000 games along with earning 2.7 million trophies. But first, this second challenge will have to wrap up.
So, if you want to get the five character avatars and help the community reach its next goal, it is time to play some games and work toward earning as many trophies as you can. With players working toward this goal from around the world, it should not take too long to achieve.
