South Park: The Stick of Truth Will Be Coming to Switch Before the End of September

The Nintendo Switch has seen nothing but strong support from third-party Ubisoft, with games like Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, Just Dance, and even the M-rated South Park: The Fractured but Whole. Ubisoft has just released their first-quarter sales report for the year of 2018-2019, and in this report, reveals that the first of Obsidian’s South Park RPG, Stick of Truth, will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch eShop sometime before the end of September. The bad news is that the game won’t be available physically, but at least fans of the comical turn-based RPG will have a chance to check it out on the Switch, letting you play it on the go for the first time.

Ubisoft has also announced the release date for the upcoming downloadable content pack ‘Bring the Crunch’ for The Fractured but Whole, which brings with it, a new story campaign and a new superhero class. Bring the Crunch is priced at $11.99 and is set to launch on July 31 – here’s a quick synopsis of what’s included in the DLC:

“In Bring the Crunch, your newest buddy, Mint-Berry Crunch, aka Bradley Biggle, aka Gok-zarah, has just arrived from his home planet of Kokujon with the tremendous power of mint and berries. Meanwhile, an idyllic summer at Lake Tardicaca turns into a nightmare when the camp counselors go missing. With the fate of summer camp in jeopardy, Fastpass sends out a Coonstagram distress signal. Team up with FastPass, Doctor Timothy, Professor Chaos and the newest member of the Coon & Friends, Mint-Berry Crunch, to save summer camp.

Players will also be able to embrace the new “Final Girl” class and overcome insurmountable odds to survive. This superhero class brings new combat tactics and traps to take down spooky enemies. After saving Lake Tardicaca, players will be able to bring their new powers and buddy to the rest of their superhero adventure.”

South Park: The Stick of Truth will be available very soon for the Switch, but in the meantime, The Fractured but Whole is available for the hybrid console both digitally and physically.
