Hot on the heels of the new Diamond Casino Heist, which Rockstar recently added to GTA Online, it seems that a serial killer has begun roaming the land north of Los Santos. In order to claim a $250,000 reward and the Navy Revolver the GTA Online serial killer uses to murder their victims, players must search the game for clues and figure out a new mystery. Plus, if you play Red Dead Online too, you can even unlock a variant revolver for use in that game as well.
The GTA Online Serial Killer and the New Navy Revolver
“A vicious serial killer is roaming the countryside,” writes Rockstar; “carrying out bloody murders with an antique Navy Revolver. Scour Blaine County for clues and bring this wicked killer to justice to claim their unique weapon for your own collection.”
The GTA Online serial killer sits at the centre of a new mystery which players will need to solve if they want to get their hands on the new Navy Revolver sidearm. As the studio states, players will need to search Blaine County for clues which point them to the killer’s location. Solving the mystery will award players with the killer’s Navy Revolver, a powerful new handgun. When you first acquire this weapon, you’ll also unlock an accompanying Navy Revolver Challenge. This GTA Online challenge requires you to score 50 kills of your own using the Navy Revolver. Once you do, you’ll earn a reward of $250,000.
Additionally, if you’re a Social Club user, then there’s a second part to this reward over in Red Dead Online. Once you complete the Navy Revolver Challenge, you’ll also unlock the Lowry Revolver; a variant Navy Revolver which you can find and use in Red Dead Online. However, you don’t simply get this weapon automatically. Instead, you’ll have to search for it by tracking down clues in New Havover, Lemoyne, and West Elizabeth.
