With Stardew Valley releasing on iPhone on the 24th, it makes sense Android fans are feeling the pressure. After all, this is just another knick to confirm that the iPhone is better right? I mean, one lets you play Stardew Valley and other doesn’t. Well, that is only partially true.
As you already may know from our previous article, Stardew Valley for iPhone only just released yesterday on the 24th of October. That means its still pretty fresh, even for the iPhone. What it also means is that Chucklefish has enough time to see how well-received the game is on mobile devices.
But that’s not what you’re here for, is it?
Stardew Valley Android: Will it be heading to Android?
I’ll give you a simple, no funny business answer: Yes. Stardew Valley will be heading to Android, but when that will happen? That we don’t know. The reason we know that it is coming to Android is thanks to the Stardew Valley blog post by developer Eric Barone, aka ConcernedApe.
Barone wrote in the post that, “the Secret Police are currently working on finishing up the Android version, and I hope to give you more news about an exact launch date soon.”
Unfortunately, we’ve not had any news about that launch date. I’m just as sad as you guys are about that.
Stardew Valley: What is Stardew Valley About?
“But what about the people who have no idea what Stardew Valley is,” I hear you cry. Well, to keep it simple…
You work in a dead-end, office job with no motivation or prospects on what you want to do next in life. That is until your grandpa’s will comes back to you, and you discover he has left you a farm. A farm in a valley. Yes, Stardew Valley.
There you decide to start anew, building the farm you want to build and befriending the local neighbors, fighting monsters and taking part in community events. Hell, you can even get married.
Interested? Go buy! I’m positive you won’t regret it.
