Strange Brigade is the latest game from Rebellion Developments, the studio behind the Sniper Elite franchise. The game launched on the 28th of August, and now Rebellion has announced their planned DLC schedule for the next three months. Not only will there be new playable characters, but they plan to add new free maps with every DLC release. The first of these maps are available today as part of a free update. Prior to the launch of Strange Brigade, VGR interviewed Jason Kingsley, the CEO of Rebellion, about the game. The full interview is available here.

The Strange Brigade DLC Schedule & Thrice Damned Campaign
The first DLC character for Strange Brigade is now available free for Season Pass holders; Patrick “Bash” Conaghan. An ex-rodeo rider, Bash has a unique amulet attack called “Wrath of Quetzalcoatl”. Players who don’t own the Season Pass can buy the Texas Cowboy Character Pack, which is available for $6.99 on all platforms. This pack is the only piece of paid DLC arriving in September. Of the four new maps, which have now been added to the game via an update, three are for the Score Attack game mode while one is for Horde. Harbin’s Dig Path II, Hidden Valley II, and Tunnels of Wadjet II are for Score Attack, while Palace is for Horde.
A key part of Strange Brigade’s DLC schedule is the Thrice Damned story campaign. This campaign will release in instalments; two in October and the conclusion in November. The full DLC roadmap for Strange Brigade is as follows:
The Strange Brigade DLC Roadmap
Firstly, in early October, Rebellion will release The Thrice Damned 1: Isle of the Dead, the first Thrice Damned campaign mission. They will also release the American Aviatrix Character Expansion Pack. Included in the pack is the playable character Tessie Caldwell, with the Internal Firestorm amulet power, along with three new weapons; the Hyde & Sons compact pistol, the Colbeck Wildfire submachine gun, and the Glacier Bomb. Also available for free will be the Stone Church II and Cursed Village II Score Attack maps, and Tunnels, a Horde map.
Later in October, Rebellion will release the second instalment of Thrice Damned; The Thrice Damned 2: The Sunken Kingdom. They will also release the Japanese Naval Officer Character Expansion Pack, which includes Hachiro Shimazu as a playable character. It will also contain the Piercing Pestilence amulet power and another three weapons; the Marchador TT pistol, the Mikhailov-38 rifle, and the Shock Grenade. Finally, three more free maps will release at the same time. Cut-Throat Caverns II and Forsaken City II are Score Attack maps, while Chamber is a Horde map.
In November, Rebellion will release the conclusion of the DLC campaign; The Thrice Damned 3: Pyramid of Bes. Alongside the final mission will be the Maharani Huntress Character Expansion Pack, which will add Anjali Khan as a playable character. She will come with the Freeze Chain amulet power, along with the Mosin-Nagant rifle, MP40 submachine gun, and Cluster Grenade. The free maps for November will be Great Pyramid II and Afterlife II for Score Attack, and Void for the Horde mode.
