Tactical Shooter Disintegration Launches Multiplayer Beta Next Week

Last year, at Gamescom 2019, V1 Interactive released the first trailer for a new tactical shooter called Disintegration. Blending elements of first-person shooting with real-time strategy, Disintegration features robots, flying grav-bikes, and a storyline which focuses on a band of outlaws. It will be V1 Interactive’s first game, although the studio, which was founded by the co-creator of the Halo franchise, is far from inexperienced. Now, gamers are getting their first opportunity to actually play the upcoming shooter in a Disintegration multiplayer beta which will be available next week.

The Disintegration Multiplayer Beta Events

Disintegration’s Technical Beta will be live from the 28th of January to the 30th. This first event will be a closed beta, but you can register here for a chance at getting a place. Don’t worry if you don’t get in though, as there will actually be an open beta following the first event, from the 31st of January to the 1st of February. Both beta events will be available on Xbox One, PS4, and Steam. Thus far, the only chance that anybody has had to play Disintegration was at Pax West last year; this is the first time that it has been available for a general audience.

The Disintegration multiplayer beta will feature two maps and two separate game modes, both featuring 5v5 multiplayer. In addition, players will have seven different crews to choose from; each of which features a different set of abilities, weapons, and battlefield roles. In 5v5, each player will actually be controlling their own squad. They will direct this personal squad from a first-person perspective as they fly above the battlefield on a ‘gravcycle’.

Disintegration Multiplayer Beta Signups Now Live 2

“The unique game modes,” explains V1 Interactive; “blending aerial combat and squad commands across several different modes and maps, are sure to test not only your shooter skills, but also your tactical approach on the battlefield”. At present, Disintegration doesn’t have a firm release date. However, the game is scheduled to release sometime in the first half of 2020, most likely around April or May.
