If you’re considering pre-ordering The Division 2 on PC, Ubisoft just tossed in a pretty enticing incentive. Those who pre-order the upcoming sequel’s PC version can pick one of three Ubisoft games to snag for free.
The Division 2 PC Pre-Order Free Game Incentive
According to this new web page on The Division 2’s website, there are three free games to choose from. Pre-order customers can pick between Ghost Recon Wildlands, Far Cry Primal, or Watch Dogs 2. If you’ve already pre-ordered The Division 2 for PC, you can claim your free game from that same web page. Just make sure you log in through the web page using the same Uplay account that’s attached to your pre-order.
There are a few terms and stipulations to be aware of. The free game offer only applies to pre-orders made through a digital storefront like the Uplay Store or Epic Store. If you pre-ordered from a physical location like GameStop or Best Buy then you’re out of luck. Same goes if you pre-order a non-PC and/or physical disc version of the game. Also, if you purchase The Division 2 through some sort of bundle deal, you’re ineligible for the free game.
One final note is that the pre-order offer is only open until March 31. Whether you’ve already pre-ordered or are planning to, be sure to claim your free game sooner rather than later.
Ghost Recon Wildlands is your best bet if you’re looking for an experience akin to The Division 2’s gameplay. Both games are military-style third-person shooters, though The Division 2 leans more heavily into its RPG mechanics. If, however, all you care about is exploring an open word, any of the three games should suffice. At the very least, this offer is a great way to round out your Ubisoft game library for free.
The Division 2 just recently wrapped its closed beta, and now an open beta is on the way. The open beta will be freely available to all when it arrives in early March. The same contents from the private beta should transfer over, including the Black Tusk endgame faction.
After the open beta, The Division 2 launches in full on March 15. Along with PC, the sequel is also launching for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
